Benefits of Membership
 
Members of BABC Houston are automatically also members of the BABC and its transatlantic network of more than 3,500 companies and entitled to attend events throughout the 30 or more locations in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
As members of BABC Houston, you will benefit by participating in our exclusive networking and trade activities:
•Business luncheons, with speakers of interest to business executives.
•Trade Missions and Events, in cooperation with the British Consulate General, UK Trade and Investment, the Greater Houston Partnership and United Kingdom Trade and Development Associations with interests in promoting trade and investment between the South Texas area and the United Kingdom.
•Pub networking nights held at various pubs in the Houston area.
 
As a member, you will have personal and internet access to transatlantic business, trade and investment information, referrals and contacts, including:
•The nearly 250 members of the BABC Houston, including website information
•The British-American Business Council network consisting of 32 British organizations in major cities throughout North America, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom with a collective membership of more than 3500 companies.
•The full trade and cultural resources of the British Consulate General of Houston and a wealth of internet sources for doing business with the United Kingdom.
•Transatlantic trade information resources offered by the City of Houston and UK Governments
As a member, you will also have opportunity to develop social connections and friendships while raising funds for BABC Houston's charity, The British-American Foundation of Texas, a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization, including:
•BABC Annual Golf Tournament in the Spring
•Annual Royal Ascot Day in June
•Outings to cultural and sporting events, such as Gilbert & Sullivan Society performances, concerts, Heather & Thistle Society Burns Supper, Houston Grampian Association St. Andrews Celebration, Dynamo Soccer (football), cricket and rugby matches throught the year
